WebSome sources say you cannot get citizenship unless they left after 1920, but some other sources seem to say there are some exceptions. Has anyone had luck getting citizenship in this case? I know this is probably not going to work but thanks for any advice. :) (I'm American) I have a similar situation (great great grandparents leaving in 1850’s).
