WebJan 28, 2014 · Eagle is closed to salmon and steelhead fishing above the hatchery. Below the hatchery I hear the fishing is pretty good. Honestly, I prefer catching the wild 10 inch cutthroat trout in the upper creek. There are no overnight campsites. Eagle Fern Park does have a nice picnic area.
